ATOP RHG9628 Series Tested and Verified for IEC 61850-90-4 Compliance

We are pleased to share that the RHG9628 series industrial managed Ethernet switches have successfully undergone evaluation for compliance with the IEC 61850-90-4 technical guidelines at the Taiwan Testing and Certification Center (ETC), an accredited lab recognized by UCAIUG.

This evaluation validates the switch’s capabilities, including performance, reliability, and seamless interoperability, making it ideal for deployment in modern substations and automation systems. Tests included VLAN handling, priority tagging, rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP) recovery, parallel redundancy protocol (PRP), and high-availability seamless redundancy (HSR), ensuring it meets the needs of critical infrastructure.

Key Benefits for Power and Energy Sector Customers

  1. Reliable Network Performance: Delivers uninterrupted communication in harsh and high-demand environments.
  2. Fast Failover and Recovery: Provides rapid recovery with minimal packet loss, ensuring consistent uptime.
  3. Seamless Interoperability: Compatible with other IEC 61850-compliant devices, ensuring smooth integration in substation networks.
  4. Compliance Assurance: Aligns with power industry standards, supporting partners in meeting industry requirements.

The IEC 61850-90-4 test report reinforces ATOP’s dedication to providing robust communication solutions, with a focus on networking stability, seamless data transmission, and system interoperability within power substations and critical infrastructure.
